Before starting the QR code installation, it's important to know:

  • You need to have the QR code on another screen or device to scan it with your phone’s camera.
  • Make sure you have a stable internet connection during this process.
  • Please note that the QR code can only be scanned once.
  • Do not remove the eSIM from your device as you will not be able to use it again.

Open your email

On a different device than the one you'll use for installation, open your email and look for the message from HOLASIM with the QR code. If you haven't received your code,

Scan the QR code

Open the camera on the iPhone where you will install the eSIM and scan the code. You can also go to Settings › Cellular data › Add eSIM to scan the code from there.

Follow the steps of installing your iPhone

Scanning the code will start the Installation process. Use the guide. which we share with you below for step-by-step setup.

01.Install your data plan

The installation process will start automatically when you scan the QR code on your iPhone.
Click on Continue

02. Mobile configuration completed

Your plan has now been installed.. Click on Done

03. Label your data plan

Give your new Holasim line a name to identify it. For example: “Holasim Spain”.
Click on Continue

04. Choose your default line

Select the “Primary” option to continue using your number to receive messages and calls.
Click on Continue

05. iMessage and FaceTime

Select the “Primary” option to continue using your number for iMessage and FaceTime.
Click on Continue

06. Mobile data

Select the “Secondary” option. (HOLASIM)..
Keep “Allow Mobile Data Switching” turned off to avoid additional roaming charges.
Click on Continue

07. Contactos

Si aparece este paso, selecciona Principal como “línea preferida”.
Toca Listo para finalizar.

Open your email

Check the email containing your “SM-DP+ Address” and “Activation Code.” Keep them ready to begin the installation. You will also receive them via SMS. If you haven't received your code, please, contact us

Open “Settings” on your iPhone

Go to Settings › Cellular Network, tap “Add eSIM” or “Add data plan”, and select “Use QR code”

Follow the installation steps on your iPhone

Once you are on “Scan QR code”, select “Enter details manually” and follow the steps shown on your iPhone.

Once there, click on “Mobile Data”, then “Add eSIM” or “Add Data Plan” and select “Use QR Code”.
Finally, click on “Enter Details Manually”

02. Add your data plan

Now it’s time to copy and paste the SM-DP + address and Activation
Code into the corresponding field.
Click on Next

03. Install your data plan

Your iPhone will show you your new data plan.
Press “Continue” and wait for your plan to be installed (this can
take a few minutes).

04. Label your data plan

Give your new Holasim line a name to identify it.
For example: “Holasim Spain”.

If you come across this step, we recommend selecting “Primary” as your “Preferred Mobile Data

Place the code in the box on the screen and wait a few seconds until the plan is detected.

Press “Add” to add it to your device.

07. Label

You can change the name of your eSIM.
We suggest calling it, for example, “HOLASIM Europe”.

You can rename it to “HOLASIM Europe” or any destination you prefer.

Congratulations!

Go into your iPhone settings and select Cellular Network.

Activate “Data Roaming”

Swipe to activate data roaming.
This will allow your HOLASIM eSIM to connect to the mobile network of the country you are in.

Open “Settings”, go to “Connections” and then enter SIM Manager

Under “Preferred SIMs”, tap mobile data and select your new HOLASIM eSIM

Go back to “Connections” and enter “Mobile networks” and turn on “Data roaming” to activate your eSIM.

01. Verify that the signal icon on your iPhone has at least one bar.

02. Go to Settings › Cellular data, select your HOLASIM line, and confirm that the “Data roaming” option is activated.
